Who we are...

Keith Clark
Principal, content direction

Keith holds a BA degree in journalism. Following a stint as PR manager for the world’s largest association management firm, he joined the pro audio industry as PR director for Electro-Voice in 1989. Retaining Electro-Voice and subsequent brands (Vega, Mark IV Pro Audio) as clients, he founded Priority Communications in 1991, and with Julie Clark, built an agency serving a roster of diverse pro audio clients.

In the mid-1990s, he joined EAW as PR Director, where he developed and executed myriad PR strategies that helped the company attain significant growth. He also developed a host of graphic skills, including providing photography that served as a staple of company ad and collateral efforts for several years.

Always interested in new ideas, he then fostered the content portion of ProSoundWeb.com (PSW) at its inception, building it into the pro audio industry’s largest portal website. While continuing that role, he also took on the role of editor in chief for Live Sound International magazine, upgrading content and operation, and helping guide the publication to a monthly publishing schedule. A bit later, he helped create Church Sound magazine, a true educational journal with an initial circulation of 70,000 church audio users.

Along the way, he has authored hundreds of articles on pro audio topics, ranging from applications to highly technical pieces, and has also served as a concept creator and copywriter for advertising and collateral materials. This, in addition to several years of hands-on work in every facet of publishing editorial. Now, he is combining this cumulative relevant experience in providing full-service marketing services/PR to a dynamic pro audio client base.

Julie Clark
Principal, online direction

Julie holds a BA degree in communication/public relations. Julie has actively participated in marketing efforts for the professional audio industry for the last 12 years. Originally starting out as a partner in Priority Communications, she assisted in developing services to it's pro audio clients on all levels including providing layout/design support for newsletters, advertising and company collateral materials as well as "standard" PR services.

In the late 1990s she joined what was then Intertec Publishing (evolving into Primedia Business Group and most recently PRISM) in an advertising sales capacity. While there she assisted with the marketing/sales of a number of magazines including Electronic Musician, Onstage, Remix, Video Systems and Millimeter as the Midwest advertising sales director.

Shortly thereafter she joined ProSoundWeb.com (PSW) as advertising sales director responsible for creating and implementing a very successful online banner advertising program for members of the pro audio industry, setting industry standards for online media marketing. When Huge Universe acquired PSW she assumed the role of advertising sales director for Live Sound International magazine along with her PSW responsibilities and added Church Sound magazine development and sales to the mix when it was introduced in 2004.

Now she is combining her multiple marketing experiences to develop successful programs for clients that take full advantage of online marketing opportunities in a way that is results oriented and cost effective. As the media of the future, it’s vital that manufacturers begin to take advantage of what it offers.
